Thai Woman Crammed in Suitcase Enters USA

Sawatdee, krup and good day to you. Thanks for clicking by. Coffee's freshly brewed and the virtual treats are magnificently displayed next to the coffeepot so help yourself, eh! Oh boy...what some people will do for a little companionship!

We know U.S. visas aren't easy to obtain, but there's got to be an easier way to bring your wife into the country.

Agents with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection discovered a 48-year-old Thai woman inside a suitcase while inspecting a Honda SUV entering the country at Nogales, Arizona from Mexico on Dec 30.

"Rarely do we see something like this. You can imagine the officers' surprise when they came upon this woman crammed inside a suitcase, but there she was," said border patrol spokeswoman Edith Serrano.

Pornkamol Mongkolsermsak was hiding under clothes inside the large suitcase inside the car being driving by a 56-year-old Arizona man, whose identity was not disclosed, Reuters reported.

I've been to Nogales. It's a border town full of souvenir shops. It doesn't say where Pornkamol's journey originated but I doubt she was in that suitcase all the way from Thailand. That's a long flight!

See ya, eh!
