UFO on the Ocean Floor?

Hiya! Thanks for clicking by today. How’s it going? Why not dive into a fresh cup of coffee and something from the top shelf? Say, did you read where an ocean exploration team led by Swedish researcher Peter Lindberg has found what some are suggesting is a crashed flying saucer. Lindberg's team, which has had success in the past recovering sunken ships and cargo, was using sonar to look for the century-old wreck of a ship that went down carrying several cases of a super-rare champagne. Instead, the team discovered what it claims is a mysterious round object that might (or might not) be extraterrestrial.

Lindberg explained to local media that his crew discovered, on the 300-foot-deep ocean floor between Finland and Sweden, "a large circle, about 60 feet in diameter. You see a lot of weird stuff in this job, but during my 18 years as a professional I have never seen anything like this. The shape is completely round."

Adding to the mystery at the bottom of the Gulf of Bothnia, Lindberg said he saw evidence of scars or marks disturbing the environment nearby, suggesting the object somehow moved across the ocean floor to where his team found it.

We know it’s not Atlantis, eh. Been there and talked it over already. But it could be a flying saucer... Me, why I’m waiting for a flying cup and saucer where the cup is filled to the brim with some roasted alien coffee. Yeah…don’t hold your breath, eh, Bob!

See ya!

What's next, sex on the moon, sex on an asteroid, sex in the space station ( maybe we are too late) or sex in the Chunnel ( maybe we are too late) or sex at Rupert Murdoch's place ( maybe he's too old ).

Change one letter in sex and you have sox and I don't think Boston will win the World Series this year.

Did I lose the thread... I've been doing to much facebook lately....oh well

Hi Bob -- Haven't had a chance to comment on the Cowboys and Indians blog  - but hopefully it's better late than never,

I finally had a chance to see Cowboys and Indians and it wasn’t bad – was number one for a week or 2, in Toronto. What the movie reminds me about is another such combination called The Phantom Empire. This was a radio serial starting in 1935 and starring Gene Autry. It is, I believe, the first ‘film’ for Autry and impetus of his phenomenal success in movies – and many other businesses. The story is a 12-part Saturday afternoon matinee serial combining music, comedy, and action on land, in the air and underground where the ‘super-scientific’ kingdom of Murania existed. Apparently Autry`s ranch land was rich in radium and a discredited scientist is trying to steal it for ownership of the radium. Murania is ruled by a beautiful queen (of course) who thinks the solution to her country`s survival is to kill Audrey and his cowboys, the famous Junior Thunder Riders singers.
I suspect the Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig film is also trying to build (revive) their careers. For Autry it was hugely successful. It’s going to be interesting to see how many sequels there are going to be for the Cowboys and Indians attempt.

Haven’t had a chance to see it yet but it’ll be here soon. No doubt DVDs are already out on the streets of Bangkok…
