This woman can sing elephants to sleep!

A big hello to you...and I do mean big! How’s it going? Thanks for taking time to click by for a mug of coffee, a virtual treat and a little conversation...though it’s mostly one-sided, I’ll admit. Of course, you are always welcome to comment. Speaking of ‘big’, here’s one for you...

Faa Mai, a fascinating creature at a Chiang Mai elephant sanctuary in Thailand, is lucky to snooze to the sweet singing of caretaker Sangduen “Lek” Chailert.

Lek is the co-founder of Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary in Thailand’s northern city of Chiang Mai for rescued elephants. Unlike other dubious animal “welfare” organizations, the park is the real deal, rescuing and rehabilitating mistreated elephants.

The heart-melting video of Lek bonding with Faa Mai was released by the Save the Elephants Organization and has reached almost a million views in one week.

Here’s the link to the video.

See ya, eh...gotta go take a nap!
