A grand and salubrious day to you! All going well, is it? Hope so! A mug of java and a virual treat won't do you any harm... that's for sure. Say... you know I dabble in various forms of art, right? Well, here's one form I am NOT about to try. Definitely!
British artist Millie Brown, 27, profiled in January in London's Daily Mail, creates Jackson Pollock-style canvases by vomiting on them after ingesting colored soy milk.
Brown (whose work hangs in London's Ripley's Believe It or Not! showcase) said she fasts for two days prior to public performances and, as the show starts, times her ingestions so that the proper hues don't prematurely mix in her stomach.
Her appearance, at work, in a Lady Gaga music video brought her a somewhat larger audience. Said the understated Brown, "I am able to challenge people's perceptions of beauty.
Art is a creative process, is it not? Who's to limit the way in which artists can express themselves? Care to comment on Millie Brown's chosen method?
Now that I'm feeling better, I've been more into a creative mood with a couple new abstracts, a slew of new digital images and a whole lot of ideas floating around in the ol' brain just itching to make their way onto canvas. Also working on updating my website. Soon's it's ready, you'll be the first to know.
See ya, eh!
