Hi there! Thanks
for clicking by. Always a treat to see you. Coffee’s hot and the VTs are just
out of the virtual oven so dig in. Say...do you have BP problems? A lot of folks do.
Well, here’s an email I received recently from my pal Dr Al...
Dear Bob,
Many new patients
come to my office with high blood pressure. They expect to get a prescription.
Instead, I like to open their eyes to one of the biggest scams in
medicine.
You see, blood
pressure drugs are a $10 billion dollar industry. Big Pharma spends millions of
dollars a year on marketing.
Most doctors
believe the ads. But there is a dirty little secret…
Blood pressure
drugs don't work.
Data from the
National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey proves it. The study shows
only 53% of patients on blood pressure drugs had their pressure under control.1
It's even more
shocking when you consider the fact that most patients treated for hypertension
don't take just one drug. They take three or even four. And still between 20%
and 30% don't get their pressure down.
I help my patients
get their blood pressure under control with a few simple dietary changes.
One of the most
effective remedies is magnesium. I call it nature's own
blood-pressure prescription.
Magnesium helps
balance potassium, sodium and calcium. They all affect blood pressure.
One study shows
people with low magnesium have a 50% higher death rate from heart
problems. And the ones with the lowest levels had a 10 times higher rate
of death from ALL causes.2
You can get more
magnesium by eating nuts, seeds and dark green, leafy vegetables. But modern
farming has depleted the mineral content in our soil. It's difficult to
get enough from food any more.
I recommend
magnesium supplements. Take between 600 mg. and 1,000 mg. a day.
Another natural
blood-pressure remedy is sesame oil.
A study in
the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine looked at a group of
people who used sesame oil for 90 days. They had an average 20-point drop in
systolic blood pressure. And their diastolic pressure dropped an average of 14
points.3
Sesame oil
contains heart-healthy polyunsaturated oil and a unique compound called sesamin. The
combination relaxes blood vessels. This prevents pressure spikes.
I use sesame oil
in salad dressings and marinades. I also like to use it in a stir-fry.
There are many
other safe cures for high blood pressure. My colleagues at Barton Publishing
have put together an easy-to-use kit to reverse high blood pressure for good,
without drugs.
·
How your teeth can
be giving you high blood pressure;
·
When high numbers
don't mean you have high blood pressure;
·
A type of salt
that will not raise your blood pressure;
·
The potent spice
that can actually stop a heart attack in its tracks;
·
The drink that
cuts the risk of high blood pressure in half.
It's very
comprehensive… you get a long list of natural blood-pressure remedies, a
cookbook, a shopping guide, plus seven more excellent resource guides, and six
free bonus reports.
To Your Good
Health,

* I haven’t read the above-mentioned report and my
doctorate is in business management – not medicine so you are on your own if
you want to get it. Luckily I have never had blood pressure problems. I have
enough other things to keep my mind occupied, thank you very much!
See ya, eh!
Bob
